Waitlist and host stand for Toast restaurants

If you run Toast, you have three kinds of options for the door: Toast's own host app, a separate waitlist app, or a host stand that reads Toast and runs the floor.

Toast Tables

Toast's own reservations and waitlist app. It's in the same system as your POS and is sold to Toast restaurants. It's a natural first look if you want one vendor.

Waitlist apps

Apps like TablesReady or Yelp Guest Manager text guests when their table is ready and handle a simple list. They're cheap or free and quick to set up. Most don't connect to Toast, so they can't see what happens after the guest sits down.

Mesa

Mesa runs the host stand and reads Toast live. The host seats a party in two taps and Mesa picks the server and table. The team screen tells servers what each table needs next: go greet, take order, food is ready, paid. Insights shows what slow service cost in dollars, which Toast can't see on its own. Mesa also works with no POS at all.
